Honorable Arnold (Arnie) J. Raasch semi-retired, born in Red Wing, Minnesota has been married for 45 years to wife Simone. They have three children; Tim of Minnesota; Todd of Washington; Tami of Arizona and 5 grandchildren. Mr. Raasch graduated from Red Wing High School and attended two years at Luther College. He is a member of Kings of Kings in Apache Junction and has held numerous positions in the church such as Elder, Treasurer, Auditor, and Evangelish Director.

Mr. Raasch was elected to a 4 year term as a Councilmember for the Town of Florence, which extends to 2012. As a member of the Council, Mr. Raasch serves as a liaison to the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce. Prior to being elected to the Florence Town Council, Mr. Raasch managed or owned 14 stores over 42 years in the grocery business. He managed his first grocery store in 1961. During his tenure in the grocery industry, Mr. Raasch held numerous positions such as Retail Counselor, Zone Manager, Store Retail Development and G. M. Sales Manager.

He moved to Arizona in 1996 where be began a career with Bashas and in 1999 decided take over management of Caliente RV Resort in Florence. His hobbies include cooking at the local clubhouse, riding dirt bikes and playing golf. Past hobbies include raising Arabian horses.
