Public Notice

The Town of Florence Council seeks qualified applicants to serve on the following Boards/Commissions:

- Historic District Advisory Commission

- Industrial Development Authority

- Library Advisory Board

- Parks and Recreation Advisory Board

- Planning and Zoning Commission

- Redevelopment Commission

Applicants must be a qualified elector and at least eighteen years of age. Applications may be picked up and returned to Town Clerk, 775 N. The five boards and commissions and one Authority meeting schedules for the Town of Florence are as follows:

Planning and Zoning Commission

Meets Every 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month at 6:00 pm. 

Historic District Advisory Commission

Meets the last Wednesday of each month at 6:00 pm.

Joint Use Library Advisory Board

Meets the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 6:00 pm.

Parks and Recreation Advisory Board

Meets the fourth Thursday in January, April, July, and October at 6:00 pm

Redevelopment Commission

Meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm.
