The Florence Community Library is celebrating National Library Week with its 16th Annual Bookmark Design Contest.  The library invites you to showcase your artistic talents, and design your own unique bookmark using dark colored markers, dark colored pencils or dark crayons.

This year’s theme: “COMMUNITIES MATTER @ your library”.  This free contest is open to all kindergarten through 12th graders currently attending or homeschooling in the Florence Unified School District. Entry forms have been distributed to all schools, and are also available at the Florence Community Library, and here: 2013 Bookmark contest

Prizes are awarded at the Bookmark Awards Ceremony, on Friday, April 12, at 6:00pm. The first place bookmark will be reproduced and distributed during National Library Week, April 14 through April 20.  The deadline to turn in your bookmark is Friday, February 28.  Late entries are not accepted.
