The Florence Community Library invites children of all ages and their caregivers to “Family Storytime” for a half hour of stories, finger plays and fun! Come join Ms. Rita and friends Wednesdays, at 10:00 am. We are now at our new Library and Community Center, located at 778 N. Main Street in Florence. Fall is in the air, and we’re so excited!

Family Storytime is filled with reading, talking, singing, writing and playtime. We’ll make new friends, and we’ll discover and encourage new terms and practice activities related to STEAM: Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math.

Children get hands-on with books, music, dance, iPads, and STEAM Kits. Ms. Rita will share important literacy tips with parents in the hopes of “Making a Reader Every Day.” A craft, snack and drink are offered on the last scheduled story time of the month and we’ll celebrate the holidays. All ideas are welcome!

The library is a great place to network, share resources, meet your neighbors and check-out the Florence community. For more information, please contact the library at (520) 868-8311.
