The Town of Florence Parks and Recreation Department will offer a series of informational workshops to inform residents and visitors about the programs, events, parks and facilities available. Staff will also use the workshops as an opportunity to gather input from residents about what programs and facilities they would like to see in the future. The workshop will include a short presentation by Bryan Hughes, Parks and Recreation Director.

Workshops are scheduled at the following locations:

· Thursday, April 7th at 7:00 p.m. – Anthem Parkside Community Center (3200 N. Anthem Way)

· Monday, April 11 at 9:00 a.m. – Caliente Clubhouse (3502 N. Pinal Parkway)

· Wednesday, April 13th @ 6:00 p.m. – Library and Community Center (778 N. Main St.)

“A lot of residents may not understand the extent of services being offered by Parks and Recreation in Florence,” stated Mr. Hughes. “This is a good opportunity for folks to ask questions or let us know what they would like to see in the future.”

Attendees will be asked to complete a short survey at the end of the workshop.
