Public Notice
The Town of Florence Council seeks qualified applicants to serve on the following Boards/Commissions:
- Library Advisory Board
- Parks and Recreation Board
- Historic District Advisory Commission
- Planning and Zoning Commission
Applicants must be a qualified elector and at least eighteen years of age. Applications may be picked up and returned to Town Clerk, 775 N. Main Street and are available on the Town website at www.florenceaz.gov. If you would like more information, please call (520) 868-7552. The five boards and commissions and the meeting schedules for the Town of Florence are as follows:
Planning and Zoning Commission
Meets Every 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month at 6:30 pm.
Historic District Advisory Commission
Meets the last Wednesday of each month at 6:00 pm.
Joint Use Library Advisory Board
Meets the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 6:00 pm.
Parks and Recreation Advisory Board
Meets the fourth Thursday of every quarter at 6:00 pm.
Meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm.
Police Public Safety Personnel Retirement Board
