The Florence Community Library continues to offer its monthly Hospice of the Valley Lecture series in the New Year!

Tuesday, January 9 at 3:00 pm, a Hospice of the Valley Representative will present Health Care Decisions.  Learn how to plan for circumstances in which you may not be able to communicate your wishes to health care providers.  Putting clear directives in place for the type and extent of medical care you do – or do not – want can help you and your family to avoid misunderstandings later.

The presentation will last approximately one hour, which will include time for questions and discussion.  Future talks will occur at the Town of Florence Library and Community Center on the second Tuesday of each month.  A schedule of topics is available at the library circulation desk.
