The Florence Community Library’s January movie will take a lighthearted turn as we look at the history of the romantic comedy. Come to the library at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 12 for a brief discussion, followed by a FREE showing of a recent hit.

The romantic comedy has remained a motion picture staple across the decades. Its flexibility allows it to encompass varied styles—from the fast-paced screwball comedies of the ‘30s and ‘40s, to more modern stories about clashing cultures.  Join us for a brief overview, followed by a free showing of a recent comedy.  Popcorn and water will be available free while supplies last. You are welcome to bring snacks and soft drinks to the show!

This program will be held at the Town of Florence Library and Community Center.  For title information, or to sign up, please contact the library at (520) 868 – 8311.
