Start your morning off by splashing to the oldies! The Florence Parks and Recreation Department is excited to offer a fun, low impact water aerobics class designed for individuals looking to challenge themselves without putting undue stress on their joints.
Water provides both buoyancy and resistance, resulting in a complete workout that improves cardiovascular conditioning, flexibility, posture, balance, stress and more. No swimming ability required since the class is conducted in shallow water.
This class is held Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00 am to 9:45 am at the new Florence Aquatic Center. The class dates are September 1 to September 24, 2015. The cost for the month is $20.00 for residents and $25.00 for non-residents. Registration is open to ages 15 years and older.
Register at the Town of Florence Fitness Center, located at 133 N. Main Street, or online at www.florenceaz.gov/parks.
