Current Activities :

The Town of Florence Parks and Recreation department is committed to providing traditional and innovative recreation programs and special events to the community. It is our goal to ensure that all members of the community are afforded the opportunity to take part in these programs. We will work diligently to continue to improve the quality of life for our residents and guests, by utilizing a continued improvement process. All programming is assessed on a regular basis, and we invite you to be a part of that process. Parks and Recreation Facility Hours
The Parks and Recreation Department office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. 

Heritage Park – 600 North Main Street
Amenities at Heritage Park include ball fields, basketball courts, playground, picnic ramadas, BBQ grills, open play area, volleyball, horseshoe pits, skate park and restrooms.

Skate Park – 600 North Main Street. Open from dawn to dusk.

Main Street Park - 121 W. 22nd Street.
Amenities include picnic ramadas, BBQ grills, open play area.

Little League Park – 200 East 8th Street:
Amenities include ball field, picnic tables, and restrooms.

Central Bark Park - 200 East 8th Street. Adjacent to Little League field (corner of Sixth & Church).
Amenities include Picnic tables, benches, water fountain, separate areas for large and small dogs.

Florence Community Pool - 1000 S. Willow Street (behind Florence High School). Please call the Parks and Recreation Department for Current aquatics programming.

Fitness Center - 133 North Main Street
Equipment at the Fitness Center includes treadmills, recumbent bikes, weight machines,  arc trainers, warm-up/stretch machines and free weights.
Hours:  Monday through Fridays, 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Saturdays, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. during the winter, and 6:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. during the summer. Closed Holidays.

Arriola Square - 191 North Main Street.
Arriola Square is located in Historic Downtown Florence.

Jacques Square - Restrooms are available.

Dorothy Nolan Senior Center - 330 North Pinal Street.
Call the Senior Center for current programming.

Gym - 460 South Park Street (Florence Middle School Gym).
This gym is used for Open Gym basketball, Tuesday & Thursday evenings.
