Florence’s historic western history will be celebrated this Saturday when the annual Junior Parada Parade begins at 10:00 a.m. along historic downtown Main Street.  The parade features a variety of entries and is a venue for the Junior Parada Rodeo Royalty.  The rodeo, presented by the Pinal County Mounted Posse, begins the day before on Friday, November 23rd at noon at the Charles Whitlow Rodeo Grounds, 11608 South Highway 79.  Entry fee is only $10 per carload or $5 with a nonperishable food item donated to the American Legion.  The Posse is also offering a steak fry on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. at the rodeo grounds.  Entertainment is provided by the Tenth and Main Street Band.  For more information, please call Recreation Coordinator Ali Feliz at (520) 868-7585.
