The library’s September movie presentation will look at the career of actor-turned-director Clint Eastwood. Come to the library at 1:00 pm on Saturday, Sept. 8 for a brief discussion, followed by a FREE showing of a recent, fact-based drama directed by Eastwood.

Clint Eastwood rose to stardom as an actor in westerns and action films. While he was popular as an actor, it was his work as a director that gained him international recognition as a major creative force. Winner of multiple Oscars as Best Director, he is now often named among the greatest living American filmmakers.

Join us for a brief look at Eastwood’s career. The presentation will be followed by a free showing of a recent movie, based on a true story! Popcorn and water will be available free while supplies last. You are welcome to bring snacks and soft drinks to the show.
