Donations are still being accepted for the Town’s first Veteran’s Memorial, designed to honor Florence veterans. Cost of the project is estimated at $65,000 to $75,000. The Town will match donations up to $40,000 leaving the balance to private donations. Plans are to have the memorial dedicated on Memorial Day. Those who wish to donate may access and complete the form found on the Town web site (www.florenceaz.gov/parks-and-recreation). The form is also available at the community center.
