“Our State, Our Story: Celebrating 100 Years of Arizona” will complete its final week of activities at the Florence Community Library, showcasing Arizona’s rich culture and history.
Monday’s raffle winner will be selected and contacted by phone. On Tuesday at 2:00pm, the library is hosting video games for teens, ages 13 and up. On Wednesday at 10:00am, there is Family Storytime, with Jean Ekman Adam’s “a Cowgirl and her Horse” – the library will host a special four-legged friend. On Thursday at 2:00pm, families design patriotic wagons. On Friday, the library is showing a family movie at 1:00pm, with free popcorn and drink. Summer Reading comes to a close on Friday with a “finale pool party” at 5:30pm. We invite everyone to come and help us celebrate our successful summer. Also, don’t forget to turn in your reading logs!
This week also marks the end of the adult summer reading program. The final prize drawing for adults is on Monday, June 25. Adult patrons may continue to get prizes for any book reviews they complete through Friday, June 29. All reviews are posted in a binder inside the library.
