Code Enforcement
**Attention**
Florence has moved to a new format for Code Compliance.
Thank you for helping make Florence a safer and more beautiful place!
This is an online and mobile service request system for the Town of Florence through the Florence Police Department. This service allows residents to identify issues and report those service requests directly to Code Enforcement through the Police Department.
Citizens may submit a request anonymously or they may input their information on the service request submission, but the system will not provide status updates. You will have the option to save or print the completed form once it is submitted, if you prefer or need a copy of the submission. Please note: not all issues will be able to be immediately fixed, and there is a flow chart provided below that outlines what the process looks like with included time lines. Issues will be completed based on priority-level and available resources. Any applicable records associated with code enforcement submissions can be obtained through the Florence Police Department, and will follow the same guidelines as a public records request for police records.
This system is monitored Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The Community Dashboard button below will redirect you to our Community Dashboard page. This page will show the number of code violations for the designated time period under the Crime Charts “Natures” tab. Additionally, you can select the Mapping tab, and under the “Natures” section check the box for City Code Violations, which will then populate all of the code violations on the map for location awareness.
**NOTE ON TIMELINES** – The timelines provided in the flow chart are baseline time frames, and those can be longer once the case reaches the courts, as there can be time extensions or other adjustments made by the judge at that point. Issues will be completed based on priority-level and available resources.
