Commander Phillip Riccomini, Staff Support
Commander Phillip Riccomini began his law enforcement career with the Florence Police Department in 2011. He is currently assigned as the Commander of the Support Services Division. In this capacity he oversees Professional Standards, Communications, Evidence, Records, Code Enforcement, Training, Budget, Procurement, and special projects.
Prior to being promoted to Commander, he served in several areas of the department. These assignments included: Investigations Division Supervisor, Patrol Supervisor, Training Coordinator, Fleet Coordinator, Information Technology, Procurement, Field Training, Patrol Officer, and Driving Instructor.
Commander Riccomini is a graduate of Northwestern University Center for Public Safety, School of Police Staff Command Class 461.

Commander Cody Linderoth, Operations
Commander Cody Linderoth has served with the Florence Police Department since 2012. Prior to Florence, he served with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office as a Detention Officer from 2005 until 2012. Cmdr. Linderoth currently oversees the Operations Division of the Florence Police Department. Overseeing patrol operations, criminal investigations, and special assignments.
During his tenure, Cmdr. Linderoth served as the Specialized Police Services Supervisor, Patrol Sergeant, Patrol Officer, and as a Field Training Officer. He is also a General Instructor (Defensive Tactics Instructor and Firearms Instruction). He has received numerous citations and awards including – Supervisor of the Year 2023 and 2021, the Medal of Valor, and a Life Saving Award.
He has earned an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science in Law Enforcement Technology from Rio Salado Community College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Justice Studies with a Criminal Justice Administration Emphasis from Northern Arizona University. Sergeant David Peterson
Sergeant David “Dave” Peterson has served with the Florence Police Department since 2011. Prior to Florence, he served with the New York City Police Department for 22 years, retiring at the rank of Sergeant. During his tenure with the Florence Police Department, Sergeant Peterson has served as a Patrol Officer, Patrol Supervisor, Volunteer Coordinator, and the Field Training Officer Program Supervisor. Sergeant Kyle Kakar
Sergeant Kyle Kakar has served with the Florence Police Department since 2006. During his tenure with Florence, Sergeant Kakar has been a Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, General Instructor (High Risk Stop Instructor, Taser Instructor, and Driving Instructor). He has also served as a Patrol Supervisor, and as the Field Training Officer Program Coordinator. He currently oversees the Training Division and is the Fleet Coordinator. He also serves as the “B” Beat patrol supervisor, which encompasses the southwestern sector of the Town of Florence. He can be reached at (520) 868-7668.
Sergeant Jason Chavez
Sergeant Jason Chavez has served with the Florence Police department since 2017. Sergeant Chavez has served as a Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, General Instructor, and as the Officer in Charge. Sergeant Chavez currently oversees the Field Training Officer Program, and the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety Grant. In his duties, he also serves as the “A” Beat patrol supervisor, which encompasses the southeastern sector of the Town of Florence. Sergeant Michael Williams
Sergeant Michael Williams has served with the Florence Police Department since 2021. Prior to Florence, he served with the Detroit Police Department in Michigan for 12 years. He also served with the Peoria Police Department for 5 years. Sergeant Williams currently oversees the Volunteer Program, Commercial Vehicle Inspection Unit, and serves as the Special Event Coordinator. He is also a Field Training Officer, General Instructor, and certification Commercial Vehicle Inspector. In his duties, he also serves as the “C” Beat patrol supervisor, which encompasses the northern sector of the Town of Florence (Anthem Area). He can be reached at (520) 868-7533.
Dispatch Supervisor Regina Quinones
Regina Quinones joined the Florence Police Department in September 2022 and has over 20 years of experience as a Public Safety Dispatcher. She began her career in the La Paz County Sherriff’s Office as a Public Safety Dispatcher, and prior to working for the Florence Police Department, she was a Public Safety Dispatcher and Detention Officer for the Colorado River Indian Tribe. She joined the Florence Police Department in 2012 and first worked as a Public Safety Dispatcher, was promoted to Lead Public Safety Dispatcher and now serves as our Public Safety Dispatch Supervisor. Although her career changed briefly, she returned to her passion and is now serving as the Public Safety Dispatch Supervisor for the Town of Florence Police Department.
