Life is unpredictable and one way to prepare for its uncertainties, is to learn life-saving cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Through the recreation division of Florence Community Services Department, a series of CPR classes are offered in January. Mark LaClair, a certified CPR training instructor will teach these classes which are designed to show proper CPR techniques and First-Aid training.

Community CPR certification is on Tuesday, January 2 for only $40 per person. Healthcare Provider CPR is offered on January 16 at $50 per person. First Aid class is on January 23 at only $30 per person. All classes are on Tuesdays from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at the Florence Community Center, 778 N. Main Street.

Pre-registration is required and may be done online at www.florenceaz.gov/parks-and-recreation, the Florence Fitness Center at 133 N. Main Street or at the Community Center.
