Take a break from holiday preparations with the Florence Community Library’s December movie discussion!

Saturday, December 21 at 1:00 pm, the library will hold a brief presentation looking at movies based on television series.  This includes films that are direct continuations of series, and also films that are remakes/reboots with entirely new casts.  The discussion will include some of the best-received examples… along with a few of the missteps.

The presentation will be followed by a free showing of a recent hit, a continuation of a popular British television series, with subtitles enabled for the benefit of the hearing impaired.  Popcorn and water will be available while supplies last. Feel free to bring snacks and soft drinks to the show!

This program is free and open to the public, and will take place at the Florence Library and Community Center.  For title information, or to sign up, please contact the library at (520) 868—8311.
