The Florence Community Library’s February movie discussion will be held Saturday, February 8 at 1:00 pm.

This month’s presentation will be a brief overview of ways movies reflect society, both acting as a mirror of the values and conditions of their times while at the same time commenting on them.  This will be followed by a free showing of a current Oscar nominee, with subtitles enabled for the benefit of the hearing impaired. Please note that this month’s film is “R” rated. Viewers under age 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Popcorn and water will be available while supplies last. Feel free to bring snacks and soft drinks to the show!  For title information, or to sign up, please contact the library at (520) 868 – 8311.
