Florence, AZ – The Town of Florence is pleased to welcome Robert Wingo as he begins his service as Town Attorney on December 1, 2025. Wingo brings more than two decades of municipal law experience, with a strong background in land use, civil litigation, real estate, procurement, and public governance.
Wingo has spent his career supporting Arizona cities and towns across a broad range of legal matters, including zoning, development, public infrastructure, and municipal operations. He previously served as City Attorney in both Surprise and Page, providing legal guidance to elected officials and staff while helping advance major municipal initiatives. He holds a Juris Doctor with Distinction from the University of Oklahoma College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Northern Arizona University.
“We are excited to welcome Robert to our leadership team,” said Town Manager Bruce Walls. “His extensive experience and deep understanding of municipal law will serve Florence well as we continue strengthening operations and supporting responsible growth.”
As Town Attorney, Wingo will serve as the chief legal advisor to the Mayor, Town Council, and all Town departments.
