The Florence Community Library invites families to enjoy some Friday afternoon activities during the Winter Break.
Dec. 22, 2:00 pm: Grinch-mas Party
Friday, December 22 at 2:00 pm, the library will host a “Grinch-mas Party.” Enjoy a variety of activities. Create a wreathe and a Christmas card! Play “Pin the Heart on the Grinch!” Test your observational skills by guessing how many M & Ms are in a jar! Stop by the food station to enjoy a sweet treat!
At 3:30, Miss Gloria will read Dr. Seuss’ classic story, How the Grinch Stole Christmas. The story will be followed by a screening of a short holiday classic, with the party wrapping up by 4:30!
To make sure we have enough treats for everyone, advance registration is strongly encouraged. However, walk-ins will be welcome on a space-available basis.
Dec. 29, 2:00 pm: Family Flick
The library will show a Family Flick on Friday, December 29, at 2:00 pm. Enjoy a free showing of a recent family-friendly hit. Feel free to bring snacks and soft drinks to the show!
For more information about either of these programs, or to sign up, please contact the library at (520) 868 – 8311.
