Florence, AZ – The Town of Florence invites you to join us for Freedom Fest on Thursday, July 4, at Heritage Park, 600 N. Main Street. This event is proudly sponsored by Florence Copper, SRP, and LGI Homes.

Kick off the fun at the Florence Aquatic Center with the Freedom Fest Pool Party from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Enjoy open swim, games, and music throughout the day. This FREE event has limited capacity, so arrive early!

Afterward, head to the Heritage Park for water inflatables, old-fashioned relay games, fabulous food vendors, a cornhole tournament, live music, and a spectacular fireworks show!

Mayor Walter hopes everyone will join the festivities, saying, “This year’s celebration will be our most exciting yet, featuring a full day of family-friendly activities. Start with swimming and games at the Aquatic Center, then enjoy thrilling competitions and live music at Heritage Park. End the day with a breathtaking fireworks show and create lasting memories with friends and neighbors. We can’t wait to celebrate Independence Day with you at Freedom Fest 2024!”

Heritage Park Festivities begin at 5:00 p.m. and include:

  • Water Inflatables on baseball field #2 (northwest field)
  • Water Volleyball (5:00 p.m.) at the courts south of the Heritage Park parking lot: no registration required
  • Cornhole Tournament (5:30): pre-registration is required by June 30 at https://bit.ly/4cr5yfz
  • Food Trucks on field #1 (northeast field)
  • Bingo at the Community Center (5:30): play for a chance to win exciting prizes!
  • Teen Zone at the Community Center (5:00 – 8:00): dance the evening away with a DJ and enjoy karaoke with your friends!
  • Old Fashioned Relay Games (6:00) & Foam Zone: fun for kids of all ages.
  • Basketball skills competition (7:00): show off your talents and compete for top honors!
  • Live Entertainment – stage schedule:
    • 5:00: DJ Joel Gibbs
    • 5:30: Highway Outlaws
    • 6:45: American Legion Post #9 Presentation of Military Branch Flags
    • 7:15: Rhythm Edition
  • Sensory Zone: a quiet, calming area for individuals with sensory sensitivities.
  • Sign Language Interpreter to ensure everyone can fully participate and enjoy the festivities.
  • Town of Florence Fireworks Display: cap off the evening at 8:45 with the best fireworks show in Pinal County!
