Intersession woes got you feeling lost? The Florence Community Library can guide you to a whole lot of fun!
Library intersession activities kick off on Monday, September 24th at 1:00pm, with games for children. Wii, X-Box 360, and table games are set up for children ages 12 and younger. Whether your kids choose to step into the shoes of a rock star or a sports star, a good time should be had by all!
The fun continues on Wednesday, September 26th, at 10:00am. Families can laugh out loud to the Great Arizona Puppet Theater’s performance of “Old MacDonald” on the main floor. A sign-up sheet is already available in the library, and registration for this event is strongly encouraged.
Children can unleash their inner artist on Thursday, September 27th, at 1:00pm, when families can join Ms. Rita to create a multi-cultural collage. Due to limited seating, registration is also recommended for this event.
Teens can also have fun at the library during intersession! Tuesday, October 2nd, at 1:00pm, the library invites teens ages 13 and older to play “Call of Duty” and “Halo” on X-Box 360. These games are rated “M” for “Mature,” so all teens must turn in a signed Parent Permission Form to participate. Blank forms are available at the front desk.
Intersession activities come to a close with a Family Flick on Friday, October 5th at 1:00pm. Popcorn and drinks are served, and all ages are welcome to attend! Title information is available inside the library or by calling (520) 868 – 8311. Titles are subject to change without notice.
Seating is limited, so registration is strongly recommended for all activities. For more information about any of these programs, please call the library at (520) 868-8311.
