The Town of Florence Parks and Recreation Department is now accepting registrations for the Lil Tykes T-Ball League for children ages 3 to 6 years old. There is a division for first year players that are 3 years old and a division for children 4 to 6 years old. Ages are determined as of April 1, 2015.
There is a fee of $35 per participant, if registered by Friday, February 27. Thereafter the fee is $38.50 per participant and must be paid by Friday, March 6. Please register at the Florence Parks and Recreation at 132 N. Bailey St. or here.
Anyone interested in coaching a team or being a team mom is invited to attend a meeting on Wednesday, March 4 at 5:30pm at the Parks and Recreation Department, located at 132 N. Bailey Street.
League play begins on Wednesday, March 18. This league is focused on sportsmanship, teamwork, and fun! Volunteer coaches are needed for the successful operation of this program. For more information, or to volunteer as a coach, please contact Erasmo Mendivil Jr. at 868-7589.
