Florence, AZ – Deputy Town Manager and Town Clerk, Lisa Garcia, has been officially sworn in as the President of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC) for the 2024-2025 term. The swearing-in ceremony took place on May 22, 2024, in Calgary, Canada, marking the beginning of her leadership role which will continue until May 2025.

Lisa Garcia, a dedicated public servant with a distinguished career in municipal administration, expressed her gratitude and excitement upon assuming this prestigious position. “I am deeply honored to serve as the President of the IIMC,” said Garcia. “This organization plays a crucial role in fostering professional development and excellence among municipal clerks worldwide.
