Florence Police Department is actively recruiting volunteers to assist in a wide range of capacities throughout the department. You can assist your local police, serve your community, and meet new friends by becoming a Citizen Support Specialist! Volunteer roles may include performing clerical tasks, providing patrol support, and assisting with Town events.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Have a valid driver’s license or other I.D.
  • Complete a FPD volunteer application
  • Submit to fingerprinting
  • Pass a criminal history check
  • Complete selection interview
