Florence Police Department is actively recruiting volunteers to assist in a wide range of capacities throughout the department. You can assist your local police, serve your community, and meet new friends by becoming a Citizen Support Specialist! Volunteer roles may include performing clerical tasks, providing patrol support, and assisting with Town events.

Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Have a valid driver’s license or other I.D.
- Complete a FPD volunteer application
- Submit to fingerprinting
- Pass a criminal history check
- Complete selection interview
