Florence, AZ – On Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at approximately 5:30 a.m. a woman in her 40’s who was living transiently in a vehicle was found deceased by her boyfriend. The couple who had fallen on hard times parked their vehicle in a public parking lot behind 290 N. Main Street and went to sleep around 9:00 p.m. on March 14, 2023. Upon waking the next morning, the boyfriend found the woman unresponsive and attempted CPR, but unfortunately the woman had passed away. The Florence Police department believes this to be a non-criminal incident and is currently investigating the cause of death.
