Artists are invited to participate in the second annual Florence Quick Draw Art Event at the 32nd Annual Historic Florence Home Tour on Saturday, February 11, 2017.

The Florence Arts and Culture Commission created this event in which participating artists create a piece of art in just two-and-a-half hours in front of onlookers.

Artists start with a blank canvas or paper and end up with a finished work of art. All those pieces will be offered for purchase in a silent auction format. Proceeds will support future community events and programs offered by the Arts and Culture Commission.

The Quick Draw Event will be held in the historic Jacob Suter House at 270 N. Pinal Street. Doors open at 10:00 a.m. and the artists begin working at 10:30 a.m.

The Home Tour traditionally attracts 900 – 1,000 visitors to the community which will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Artists who are interested in participating, contact Terri Graciano at Florence Parks and Recreation at (520) 868-7589.
