The Florence Community Library invites children of all ages and their caregivers to a special craft with guest presenter Gary Alpert – aka, “The Fly Guy!” Come to the library Thursday, July 6 at 11:00 am, and learn how to make things that fly!
Gary Alpert, a retired teacher with more than 32 years’ experience in education, has taken his kid-friendly, flying workshops on the road. On Thursday, July 6, he will visit the Florence Community Library to lead a workshop for children of all ages. Kids can learn about aerodynamics, physics, and history, while their imaginations (and creations) take flight!
