There is still time to purchase advance tickets for the 30th Annual Florence Historic Home Tour on Saturday, February 14, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Online purchases may be made at www.florenceaz.gov/parks. 

Tickets are only $10 in advance or $12 for adults the day of the event.  Advance tickets are also available at the Pinal County Historical Society and Museum, Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce, Florence Visitor’s Center, and the Florence Parks and Recreation Department.   Day of tickets may be purchased at Jacques Square, located at 291 N. Main Street in Florence. 

This year’s theme is “The Heart of Florence – Adobe Walls of Love and Heartbreak.”  Come celebrate the Town’s rich history with your favorite valentine on Valentine’s Day.  Unique homes and buildings are featured on this historic home tour.  The route is planned for those to enjoy a leisurely stroll through the downtown Florence area or hop a provided ride to some of the outlying buildings. 

McFarland State Park, located at 24 W. Ruggles Street (Main and Ruggles Streets), is featuring Designs by Suz, along with eight other artists, beginning at 8:30 a.m. The Santa Cruz Valley Union High School Mariachi Band, Cielito Lindo is performing at Padilla Park in downtown Florence from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Visitors will get a historical perspective when the Pinal County Historical Society and Museum presents the Territory of Arizona Buffalo Soldiers.   Members will display a replica encampment along with a short history of the Buffalo Soldiers beginning at 2:00 p.m.
