The anticipation is building as to which softball teams will capture this year’s “Whole Frijole Cup.” The Town of Florence Parks and Recreation is hosting the 8th annual “Whole Frijole” men’s slow pitch softball tournament on Saturday, April 26th and the co-ed softball tournament on Sunday, April 27th at Heritage Park.
The tournament is limited to the first 16 teams to register. Awards are available for the first through third place teams and there are MVP awards for each tournament.
There is an early bird discount fee of $166.50, if paid and registered by Friday, April 11th. Thereafter the registration fee of $185 is due by Friday, April 18th. Registrations are accepted at the Florence Parks and Recreation Department at 132 N. Bailey Street.
