All dog owners are invited to participate in the 9th Annual Pooch Party on Saturday, March 29th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Central Bark Park, located at 200 E. 8th Street. 

It’s a morning of showcasing your canine at the Pooch Party in several categories:  Best Dressed, Most Unusual Coat, Most Unique Breed, Best Trick Performed, Biggest Pooch, Smallest Pooch, Longest Tail, Shortest Tail and Best Owner/Pooch Resemblance.  

Pinal County Animal Care and Control representatives will also be available (for a fee) to issue various vaccinations, licensing and microchips. 

Free hot dogs will be served.  Pre-registration is not required, but all dogs must be leashed.  

The Florence Parks and Recreation Department is also seeking informational vendors.  If interested, please contact John at (520) 868-7699.
