The Florence Community Library concludes its series of “Journey Stories” guest speakers with “A Man Called Andreas,” Friday, December 20 at 5:30 pm.

Andy Kroneberger, Winter Visitor and author of the book “A Man Called Andreas,” will reveal his father’s very personal Journey Story.  An immigrant German from Russia, John (Andreas) Kroneberger came to America in 1912, and then struggled for years to get his family out of Russia to their new home in America.  Andy will share the hardships his father endured while working to bring his family together.

This program is in partnership with the Smithsonian on Main Street exhibit, “Journey Stories.”  The exhibit will be at McFarland State Historic Park until December 29, 2013.

Seating is limited, so advance registration is strongly encouraged.  For more information, or to sign up, please contact the library at (520) 868 – 8311.
