Enjoy Academy Award Winning movies on Tuesday evenings throughout the month of January at the Florence Community Library!
Every Tuesday at 5:30 pm, from January 7 through January 28, the library is showing a movie in the library programming room. Each of the films chosen will be an Academy Award winner. A variety of films are spotlighted, from classic romance to adventure to historical drama. All movies are rated between “G” and “PG-13,” so viewers of all ages are welcome (with parent/guardian supervision of children 10 and under).
Each movie is given an introduction, giving some details about the film’s significance and the awards it won, and there will be opportunity for patron discussion. Popcorn will be provided, and patrons may feel free to bring dinner and a soft drink to the show!
