Throughout June, the Florence Community Library is hosting programs and events focusing on Arizona’s rich culture and history. The theme of the summer is “Our State, Our Story, Celebrating 100 Years of AZ”, and it continues the week of June 11th.

On Monday the second set of trivia handouts is available for children and young adults. On Tuesday at 2:00pm, the library is hosting video games for teens, ages 13 and up. On Wednesday at 10:00am there is Family Storytime, with Susan Middleton Elya’s “Rubia and the Three Osos”- bring your favorite bear! On Thursday at 2:00pm, families design their own sun catcher. On Friday, the library is showing a family movie at 1:00pm, with free popcorn and drink.

Adults can have fun with summer reading, too! Adults receive an entry for weekly prize drawings for each book read. Additional prizes are given for book reviews, which are posted in a binder in the library!

For more information about any of these programs, please contact the library at (520) 868-8311.
