Citizens interested in serving the community are encouraged to apply for openings on the Town of Florence Arts and Culture Commission, Library Advisory Board and the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. Citizen participation and input on boards and commissions are valuable to Town staff.  Board and commission members represent the community at-large and provide helpful information. Significant time commitments are not necessary.  Arts and Culture meets monthly and the Library and Parks Boards meet quarterly.  Applicants must be at least 18 years old, a qualified elector (registered to vote) and a Florence resident.  Applications are available at Town Hall, 775 N.
