Artists Needed for Home Tour’s Quick Draw Event

There is still time for area artists to register for the third annual Quick Draw Artist Contest and Silent Auction on Saturday, February 10th. This event is part of the 33rd annual Historic Florence Home Tour which is from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the downtown area.

Space is limited so interested artists are encouraged to register as soon as possible.

Participating artists will have 150 minutes beginning at 10:30 a.m. to complete a piece of art in front of onlookers. Each piece is then up for auction beginning at 1:15 p.m. All proceeds benefit the Florence Arts and Culture Commission.

Each artist begins with a blank 11” x 14” canvas (which is provided) and may use pencil, paints, water colors or whatever is preferred. All artists must supply their own materials and must arrive by 10:00 a.m.

This event is at the Historic Jacob Suter House at 270 N. Pinal Street in Florence. The Florence Home Tour attracts close to 1,000 visitors annually to our community.
