If you are interested in creative crafting, the Town of Florence Parks and Recreation Department has the ideal class for you: “As Seen on Pinterest” is held on the second Thursday of every other month.
Join us and make the latest Pinterest projects. Each time we offer a different craft and we provide all the supplies. June’s project is a Mixed Media Scrapbooking Canvas (8”x10”) and the cost is only $10.
To see an example picture of the project, visit us on Facebook at Town of Florence (government). Participants need to bring a photograph or a photocopy of a photograph. Attendees are also encouraged to bring in any scrapbooking/mixed media supplies to add to their project.
The class is on Thursday, June 12, 2014 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Dorothy Nolan Senior Center, located at 330 N. Pinal Street in Florence.
Registration is open to ages 12 years and older (those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult). The registration deadline is Saturday, June 7th. You can register at the Parks and Recreation Department at 132 N. Bailey Street or here.
