Although the school district holiday break is fast approaching, it’s not too soon for parents to enroll their children in the 2019 Before and After the Bell recreation program.  Parents who have elementary-aged children and seek a safe and productive atmosphere for their child to play and learn, should consider this program which resumes on Monday, January 7, 2019.  Presented by Florence Community Services, this program runs Mondays through Fridays at Florence K-8 and Anthem K-8 schools.  Children in kindergarten through the sixth grade are eligible to attend and participate in exercise time, homework assistance, games, crafts and more.   Before the Bell is held from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and After the Bell is held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.  The monthly fee, which must be paid prior to attending, is only $55 per child for residents and $69 for non-residents. The registration fee may be paid at the Community Center at 778 N. Main Street or online at www.florenceaz.gov/parks.   For more information, please contact Megan Cetta at (520) 868-7589.
