Candidate Packets are available for the 2018 Florence Town Council Election. Florence residents interested in running for Town Council can pick up a candidate packet from the Town Clerk’s Office beginning March 6, 2018. The packet serves as a resource for candidates and contains information about the nomination process, campaign finance laws, Town regulations about campaign signs, and other frequently asked questions.

  • Seats: Three seats available
  • Term: Four-year term
  • Compensation: $450 per month of service
  • Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age
    Reside in Town limits for one year
    Be a qualified elector at the time of filing

The primary election will be held on August 28, 2018, with the general election, if necessary, to follow on November 6, 2018. Nomination papers must be filed between April 30 and May 30, 2018. Candidate packets are available at the Town Clerk’s Office, located at Florence Town Hall, 775 N. Main Street. Please call (520) 868-7552 to schedule an appointment.

The Voter registration deadline for the August 28, 2018 Primary Election is July 30, 2018. You may register to vote by stopping by the Pinal County Recorder’s Office or you may register online at http://servicearizona.com.
