The Florence Community Library invites families to Celebrate Children’s Day/Book Day (Celebramos El día de los niños, El día de los libros), on Wednesday, April 30 at 5:30 pm.
Join Ms. Rita and Ms. Gloria for this fiesta! They will read “Bravo, Chico Canta! Bravo!” co-authored by Pat Mora and Libby Martinez. Following the story, children will dress up and put on their own version of the play, “The Three Little Pigs” (with a Spanish flair).
This expanded Family Storytime includes free make-it/take-it crafts, games, delicious snacks, a raffle, and a piñata on the back patio. This is a free event, but registration is strongly encouraged. To sign up, or for more information, please call the library at (520) 868-8311.
