Effective Monday, August 6, 2012, the Town of Florence Community Development Department is modifying the hours that they are open to the public. The new hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm. The old hours were Monday through Thursday, from 7:00am to 6:00pm.
There were requests from the public for the Community Development Department to reopen its doors on Friday. Many residents want to apply for or pick up building permits on Fridays so that they can do construction work on the weekends. The Town clearly heard this request from the public and has made the change to accommodate its residents.
