Construction of the Florence Super Stop at the southeast corner of Diversion Dam Road and Highway 79 is underway. When construction is completed, the Florence Super Stop will include 12 gas pumps, a 4,000+ square foot convenience store, an automatic car wash and other amenities.
The Florence Super Stop will sit on a 1.52 acre site and will be accessible either on Highway 79 or Diversion Dam Road. It will include a southwestern/territorial architectural theme with colors that are complementary to the adjacent commercial facilities. The anticipated opening date is December, 2013.
ADOT is planning construction improvements in the vicinity of this project, which includes the widening of Diversion Dam Road at the Diversion Dam Road and Highway 79 intersection, as well as the placement of a streetlight at the same intersection. These improvements are also expected to be completed by ADOT in December, 2013.
