An afternoon of kite building and flying await all who participate in the Family Kite Festival on Saturday, March 10th from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The Florence Community Services Department and the Arts and Culture Commission are making the festival possible for all families.
All materials will be supplied at no charge at the Library and Community Center, 778 N. Main Street. After the kites are built, family members will then fly them on the Aquatic Center Multi-Purpose fields.
