Teens and young adults interested in summer employment are encouraged to attend the final Aquatics Job Fair on Wednesday, January 17th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Florence Community Center.
In addition to employing a pool manager, head guards, lifeguards, swim instructors and cashiers, the recreation division of Florence Community Services Department is also looking for volunteer junior lifeguards, ages 12 to 15 years old.
This event will discuss those opportunities that are available as well as job expectations. New and returning employees are encouraged to attend as well as parents. Those interested may also submit an application for the 2018 summer swim season.
The community center is located at 778 N. Main Street.
