During Florence Makes a Difference Day on Saturday, October 27th from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., citizens can clean their property and dispose of the grass, weeds and other debris at the Community Center, 778 N. Main Street. RAD is providing a roll-off for public use at no charge. Unwanted clothing and furniture items may be also disposed for the Goodwill Drive, which benefits the Florence High School boys’ basketball team. Organizers are also accepting donations of items for Birthday Bags and Hygiene Kits. Items for both may be taken to Anthem Safeway, Anthem Fire Station or the Library and Community Center.
