On behalf of the Town of Florence, John Nixon, Recreation Coordinator, accepted a Certificate of Recognition from Scott Hunt, State Forester, representing the State of Arizona Department of Forestry. Florence was recognized for our eighth year as a participant in the Tree City USA Program.
The certificate reads:
“Certificate of Recognition provided in recognition of Town of Florence for their dedication to community forests through exemplary urban forest management as demonstrated by their 8th Tree City USA Award, presented on this Arbor Day, 2014.”
