This year’s Fourth of July “Freedom Fest” celebration, scheduled for Thursday, July 4th, at Heritage Park, is highlighted by the performance of the 10th and Main Band. Open swim at the Florence Aquatic Center starts the patriotic day from noon until 5:00 p.m. Admission is a new backpack or school supplies, which will be donated to FUSD. The event shifts to Heritage Park at 5:00 p.m. with several activities including a Cornhole Tournament, bingo, inflatables for the kids and food vendors. Cornhole teams may pay the $30 fee onsite until 5:30 p.m. The 10th and Main Band takes the stage from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., followed by a spectacular fireworks display.
