Next Wednesday is the 4th of July which means the Town will celebrate this patriotic event with another Freedom Fest. The day starts with open swim at the Florence Aquatic Center from noon until 5:00 p.m. Admission is a new backpack or school supplies such as pencils, paper, crayons and glue. The event shifts to Heritage Park at 5:00 p.m. with several activities planned to include a Cornhole Tournament, Bingo and inflatables for the kids. The Laura Walsh Band will entertain the crowd from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., followed by the spectacular fireworks display.
