Florence Community Services Department has partnered with Arizona Game and Fish to offer a Hunter Education Class from Tuesday, August 14 to Saturday, August 18 in the Community Center at 778 N. Main Street. The first four days are classroom instruction from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday is range day from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. These classes are designed to promote safe, knowledgeable and responsible hunter conduct, as well as an understanding of wildlife management laws and regulations, and to encourage the safe handling of firearms. All classroom Hunter Education courses are taught by certified Arizona Game and Fish Department Volunteer Instructors.
